Since October of 1988, the Utah State Bar and the Young Lawyers Division
have sponsored a free legal advice program in Salt Lake known as the
Tuesday Night Bar. Approximately 1,100 individuals meet with a volunteer
attorney each year for a brief one-on-one consultation at no cost. The
purpose of this program is to assist the public in determining their
legal rights. The Tuesday Night Bar is held the first four Tuesdays each
month between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Utah Law & Justice Center,
645 South 200 East.
Appointments for this program may be scheduled by calling (801) 297-7037
eight days prior to the appointment from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. No walk-ins
are accepted at this clinic.
